On
the Road - Traveling to Angkor Wat
Bangkok to Siem Reap
- by plane, train, bus, taxi, and by boat, are the choices.

- this trip also has a choice of plane, bus, taxi and boats.

Angkor Archaeological Park - Angkor Thom - Remote Angkor Temples - Tonle Sap Lake
Angkor
Wat brings the tourists to Cambodia and Siem Reap, but most visitors
quickly realize that there is a lot more to see and either extend their
trips, or start planning their next trip before the first one is even
finished. The Tonle Sap 'floating village' Lake is also an experience
that can never be described adequately in words, or even pictures. More
than once has a visitor who initially did not even want to go on a
'boat ride', end up telling me it was the highlight of their visit to
Cambodia.
Siem Reap Town - Hotels & Resorts - Guest Houses - Travel & Tours - Restaurants - Bars & Nightclubs
No
longer a dusty small town at the edge of the jungle, Siem Reap is now a
lively resort that has become a destination all on its own. Numerous
five star hotels and resorts with spas and golf courses are bringing a
growing crowd of well heeled tourists from Asian nations and around the
world. Boutiques, art galleries, handicrafts centers, and a large
number of international and Asian cuisine restaurants are keeping
everyone entertained and well fed, when not trekking through the
temples.
